Improving our Wisdom and Love

Tuesdays | 11:00am – noon
NO CLASS ON APRIL 14 (DUE TO NYUNGNE RETREAT)

Cost: $8 (Free for Members)
This class is live-streamed for members.

In Advice from Atisha’s Heart, a special collection of pithy, profound wisdom advice, we will find this practical wisdom advice applies just as much now in our busy, modern lives as it did over a thousand years ago.

Venerable Atisha (982 -1054) is the founder of Kadampa Buddhism. Kadampa means someone who is practicing Buddha’s teachings in their everyday life and through this gaining spiritual realizations that protect us from suffering and lead to happiness.

Each class includes a guided breathing meditation to settle the mind and a second meditation to reflect on and come to conclusions on the topic of the week in order to continually improve our good qualities.

This booklet Advice from Atisha’s Heart is available at KMC NM Tharpa Bookstore or through Tharpa Publications US.
