Abiding in Wisdom

Blessing Empowerment of Je Tsongkhapa

December 7-8

What is an Empowerment?

An empowerment is a guided tantric meditation that harnesses wisdom, imagination and the power of enlightened beings. It bestows upon us special blessings that heal our mental continuum and awaken our Buddha nature.

Through receiving the special blessings of Je Tsongkhapa upon our body, speech and mind, we will make a special heart connection with Wisdom Buddha, Je Tsongkhapa. Through this connection, we will attain the realizations of wisdom, compassion and special power of body, speech and mind. By gaining familiarity with the special Guru Yoga of Je Tsongkhapa, called Heart Jewel, we will be able to fulfill our own wishes, as well as the wishes of all other living beings.
Everyone is welcome to this special weekend course, where Gen Khyenwang will grant the blessing empowerment of Je Tsongkhapa, give commentary to the beautiful practice of Heart Jewel, and then guide retreat sessions on Sunday using this practice. In this way, we will gain confidence in this practice, increasing our compassion and wisdom, and integrating these insights into our daily lives.
