Pop-up Torma Making Workshop

Sunday, Nov. 10 | 1:00 – 2:30pm

In this workshop, we will learn what tormas are and why we offer them, and everyone will learn to make a tsog offering torma. The class will be followed by Offering to the Spiritual Guide puja (chanted prayers) where we’ll offer the tormas, during the regular FP time from 3:00 – 4:45 pm. You are welcome to participate in any or all of these activities – making tormas, setting up the offering table and attending the puja.

3:00 – 4:45pm: Offering to the Spiritual Guide chanted prayers to accumulate merit and receive powerful blessings to accomplish inner realizations.

About the Teacher

Corva Rose has been practicing within the New Kadampa Tradition for many years and is a close disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. She is currently on the Teacher Training Program and volunteers at the center in many ways including teaching, assisting classes and torma making. Corva’s manner of presenting the teachings reflect her experience of practicing dharma in her daily life. Her experience and joy in the practice of torma making is genuinely inspiring and she delights in helping others find the beauty and power of this special offering practice.
