Living Meaningfully, Dying Joyfully
A Day Retreat
Cost: $35 Day Retreat Only | $40 for Full Weekend
We are alive, therefore we will die.
This is the simplest, most obvious truth of our existence, yet very few of us have really come to terms with this fact. Using this inspiring book, Living Meaningfully, Dying Joyfully, we will learn how to make the most of our human life, how to prepare for death and how to help others who are dying. In this way, instead of something to be feared or denied, death can become a positive experience.
Everyone is welcome to this day retreat which will include guided meditations, practical advice from Buddha’s teachings and time for discussion and Q & A.
After the class and a brief break, you will have the opportunity to engage in Powa Prayers, prayers for the deceased, as a group. In this way, we can take our compassion for the deceased and put it into practice, helping to transfer their consciousness to a Pure Land.
