Overcoming Anxiety and Worry

Anxiety and worry are common experiences to almost everyone. Often we become simply overwhelmed by the stress and demands of everyday life. To discover peace and happiness in the midst of our daily life, we need to learn to live fearlessly by meeting the challenges of our daily life with an open heart filled with compassion and wisdom. We can cultivate these inner qualities and transform our life by applying the special scientific methods taught by Buddha. This course will focus on providing simple and practical meditation techniques to solve our problems, enjoy inner peace, and discover a freedom that gives us lasting meaning and happiness in our lives.
Each session includes guided meditations and advice from Buddha’s teachings. There will also be time for paired discussion and Q & A. Vegetarian lunch is included.
