What is Foundation Program?
The Foundation Program is designed for those who wish to deepen their understanding and experience of Buddha's teachings through a structured program. This class is taught by Gen Kelsang Khyenwang and combines teaching, meditation, study and discussion. It meets on Sundays from 3:00 - 5:30 pm. This is a perfect opportunity to join the program, as we will be beginning in January Part 2 of the text: The New Heart of Wisdom.

The Foundation Program (FP) is designed for those who wish to deepen their understanding and experience of Kadampa Buddhism through a systematic study of six texts by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.

This is an IN-PERSON class. It is possible to participate in the Foundation Program via correspondence for those living far from the center.
*This is not a drop-in program and enrollment is required. It is helpful if you have attended General Program classes (drop-in) regularly for a minimum of two months before joining the Foundation Program. There are breaks throughout the program, including a longer break in the summer.
